The 5 Steps I Give Every Coaching Client

I often get the same question…

As a woman over 50, how do I actually build new healthy habits that will be sustainable for me, without feeling stressed or overwhelmed?

I love this question because the old approach ("just push harder, just be more disciplined") is exactly what stops working after 50.

What actually works is smaller, smarter, and a lot more understanding of real life.

That's exactly what I shared in a recent workshop I did, using my Small Steps Consistency Framework — the same approach I use with all my coaching clients:

Here are the 5 steps:

  1. Choose one specific goal — not five, not vague. One, specific thing.

  2. Know your why — the reason that keeps you going even when you don't feel like it.

  3. Start super small — like so ridiculously small you can't not do it.

  4. Build smart systems — so you don't rely on motivation.

  5. Keep going with grace — progress isn't a straight line, and it's not supposed to be.

I go deeper on each step, with real examples, in the full workshop: WATCH FULL WORKSHOP HERE

If you've been struggling to make a healthy habit stick — whether it's movement, rest, nutrition, or something else entirely — this framework is the place to start.
