Hi! I’m Karin
I’m the creator of Bloom, an ex-corporate girl, a certified Wellness Coach, Yoga and Pilates Teacher, and I get the challenges of midlife!
I started yoga because of daily knee pain from 30 years of dance - and now I have no more knee pain because of a combination of staying strong, flexible and eating the right foods for me.
I’ve been post menopause for almost 10 years and have had many menopause symptoms: the joint pain, hot flashes, sleep issues, increased anxiety, brain fog and I could go on...
I now specialize in working with women over 40, including those who are in peri or post-menopause.

Bloom includes 8 live classes a week on Zoom plus a library of on-demand classes.
Bloom includes Yoga, Strength Training, Pilates, and Chair Yoga classes.
Live classes schedule (all Eastern Time):
Weekday mornings at 8 am (20 - 30 minutes Morning Movement & Yoga)
Saturday morning at 9 am (Strength Training),
Thursday morning at 11 am (Chair Yoga)
Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm (The Healing Power of Yoga)

We have quarterly Wellness Talks where various experts join us on Zoom to share and educate us on various wellness topics relevant to women over 40.
So far we've had:
a clinical psychologist talk about managing stress
a physiotherapist talk about managing joint pain
a nutritionist talk about eating after 40, menopause and nutrition
a personal trainer lead us in a strength training workout for 40+ women
an art making as self care workshop
an introduction to meditation
a yoga therapist talk to us about yoga's mind-body connection and breathing techniques

Every month we meet as a group to have a group coaching call with Karin.
These sessions are meant to be a safe space for us to share our wellness goals and get coaching and support from the group and from Karin.

The Bloom library includes a collection of healthy recipes, guided meditations and yoga playlists on various topics, e.g. yoga for joint pain, yoga for beginners, yoga for stress relief, etc.
Bloom also includes various other activities which are either free to Bloomers or offered at discounted rates to Bloomers.
