5 Super Simple Ways to Add More Movement Into Your Day (for Women Over 40)

Yes, we can!

Are you a woman over 40 struggling to fit more movement into your life?

Do you find yourself thinking:

👉 “I’m too tired to exercise.”

👉 “I don’t have time.”

👉 “I can’t afford the gym.”

If this sounds like you, you’re not alone.

I’ve been in menopause for about 10 years now, and without HRT I’ve had to find natural ways to manage symptoms like joint aches, brain fog, and low energy.

Staying active is one of the best tools I’ve found — but it has to be simple and doable.

That’s why in today’s video, I’m sharing 5 ridiculously easy ways to add more movement into your day (no gym required).

🌟 5 Easy Ways to Add Movement Into Your Day

Here’s a quick recap of the tips from the video:

Start small.

  • One yoga pose.

  • A 2-minute walk around the house.

  • Just 3 minutes of your favorite movement.

  • Consistency matters more than intensity.

Park farther away.

  • Instead of hunting for the closest spot at the supermarket or mall, park far and walk.

  • Those extra steps really add up.

Walk and talk.

  • Take calls while walking around the house, your office, or outside.

  • For Zoom meetings, stand up when you can.

Take the stairs.

  1. Even just a couple flights instead of the elevator strengthens legs, core, and stamina.

  2. If you work in a high-rise, mix it up: take stairs for a few floors, then the elevator.

Sneak in movement during your daily routines.

  • Do heel raises while brushing your teeth.

  • Balance on one foot before bed.

  • Add gentle stretches in the morning before getting out of bed.

💡 Remember: these may feel “too small,” but small steps lead to big results. Every bit of movement adds up.
