Have Questions About Bloom?

Thinking about joining us in  Bloom, my online yoga and wellness membership for women?

Here are some questions I often get about Bloom so hopefully I'm answering yours too.

Q? Why should I join  Bloom ?

If you’ve been meaning to be more active but just need a little help/motivation, Bloom is for you!

If you've been struggling with frustrating joint aches and pain, Bloom is for you!

If you’re looking for ways to manage your stress and anxiety, Bloom is for you!

If you simply want to get stronger and more flexible but need some support, Bloom is for you!

If you want to be supported by a community of women who understand what you're going through, Bloom is for you!

Q? What type of yoga classes are included?

Bloom includes 8 live classes a week on Zoom plus a library of on-demand yoga classes.

Live classes are both in the mornings and the evenings.

Every weekday morning at 8 am Jamaica time we have a Morning Movement and Yoga class to get your day started. Every day except Wednesday the class is 15 minutes, and Wednesday’s class is 30 minutes.

Tuesday's evening class (5:30 pm) is a gentle yoga class, "The Healing Power of Yoga", where we focus on using yoga to get stronger and more flexible and so manage/prevent joint pain as well as manage our stress with poses for deep relaxation.

Wednesday's evening class (4:30 pm) is a Yoga and pilates combo class.

Thursday's class (11 am) is a chair yoga class that includes both seated and standing poses - great for those challenged to get up and down from the floor.

My library of on-demand yoga classes includes yoga videos of different lengths (ranging from 3 minutes to 75 minutes) covering a range of different themes and parts of the body.

My goal is to provide classes for all levels including beginners, those just coming back to yoga, and also for those who've been doing yoga for a while.

All my yoga classes include poses for deep relaxation and stress relief!

The library has videos on:

  • yoga for beginners

  • yoga for joint pain focusing on different parts of the body (back, knees, hips, neck, etc.)

  • yoga for stress relief

  • yoga for strength

  • yoga flow to get moving (slow flow vinyasa)

  • restorative yoga for deep relaxation

  • chair yoga

  • 10 minute Morning Movement & Yoga

  • meditations

  • + More!

And if it's not there, let me know and I'll create it for you!

Q? What kind of wellness events are there?

We have regular members’ wellness talks with experts and other pop-up wellness events on Zoom.

So far we've had:

  • a clinical psychologist talk about managing stress

  • a physiotherapist talk about managing joint pain

  • a nutritionist talk about eating after 40, menopause and nutrition

  • a personal trainer lead us in a strength training workout for 40+ women

  • an art therapy workshop

Replays of all Bloom events are in the Bloom library if you can't attend live.
